This website (www.kidstrument.co.uk) is operated by Kidstrument Music Tuition Limited (“we”, “us”, “our”), registered in the United Kingdom.
When you browse our public website, we act as the data controller of your personal data. When we provide our platform to schools, the school is generally the data controller and we act as their data processor.
2) Data we may collect
- Website usage: IP address, device/browser info, pages viewed and similar analytics data.
- Contact details: name, email and message contents when you email us or submit a form.
- Teacher accounts (primary schools): teacher name, work email and school/organisation details to provide access to the platform.
No student accounts are created. We do not hold children’s personal data in our systems.
3) How we use your data & lawful bases
- Provide and improve our services (legitimate interests / performance of a contract).
- Respond to enquiries and support requests (legitimate interests / pre-contractual steps).
- Operate security and prevent abuse (legitimate interests / legal obligation).
- Updates about our services (schools) (consent or legitimate interests; you can opt out at any time).

We use essential cookies to make the site work and may use optional analytics cookies to understand site traffic. You can manage non-essential cookies via our cookie banner (if shown) or your browser settings.

Credentials are stored using industry-standard hashing; we do not store passwords in plain text. No system is 100% secure, but we work to prevent unauthorised access, use or disclosure.
