Overview

In this activity Greg will show the class a simple rhyme to help them remember the string. The string on the Ukulele are usually tuned to G C E A. The rhyme that we use is Greedy Caterpillars Eat Apples. By using a simple technique of placing a finger on the top string (G), the students can count towards the floor and understand that the first letter of each word in the rhyme is the string note.
